Oh, so because I don't like this typical rice car, I have a closed mind and live in a trailer park. Do you realize how dumb that sounds? Maybe you should open your mind and realize that imports aren't the end all be all and some of them look like crap. The Del Sol is a decent looking car stock, but this is fugly. You have your fish-mouth bumper, your oversized wing on a FWD car, nasty body kit and oversized headlights. Not to mention the ugly color. This is rice, plain and simple. Open your blind eyes. Oh, btw, it's funny how everytime I say something, MulletPatrol has to chime in and insult me and how I usually say "maybe someone is sore from getting his butt whooped in his Eclipse from F-Body owners" and how he always shuts up after that. Hmm.........

Yeah, there's definitely some light weirdness going on here. I really don't know what color this car is. Light plays funny tricks on paint. This could be pearlescent paint... both of my cars have lightly pearlescent paint and they can look different colors in different lights. Actually, now that I think of it, I bet this is pearlescent.

BTW MulletPatrol...I just read your profile and so anyone who drives an F-body is white trash? Well suits me, I'd much rather be white trash than the guy who drives this car. I don't think Camaros/Firebirds are the end all be of cars, but hey I believe it to be better than your Eclipse. You talk bad about 1/4 mile times but I'm guessing that's because your Eclipse didn't do so well. There are other things to cars like top speed, handling, oh and I am also a big fan of cars that look good. But everyone seems to be into 1/4 mile drag racing, even the ricers sometimes put dial in times on their back windows. Every ricer who would lose to my car in the 1/4 yaps on about handling, well I guarantee my Firebird would out handle a Honda Civic, Firebirds where originally considered pony cars, Muscle Car type power + Sports Car like handling. Kind of a middle way. So maybe you can out handle a 60's Camaro with a Civic, but not a 90's. There are many things that can beat my car it various areas,

I would be DAMN surprised if you could outhandle a 1st-gen Z28 with a Civic. Everyone seems to forget those lovely small-block performance packages... Z28, Boss 302, AAR 'Cuda, Dodge Challenger 340 Six-Pack, etc. Those cars friggin' HANDLED. They were essentially SLIGHTLY detuned versions of Trans-Am race cars. Any one of them would eat a stock Civic alive on a road course, skidpad, anywhere else you'd care to take them. And I do mean ANY track. Oval track, dragstrip... hell, the Z28 would even kick the Eclipse's ass on a dirt track.

Yes, I know. I just defended F-bodies. 1st and early 2nd-gens and 4th-gens, I like. A lot of the owners rub me the wrong way, but I like the cars. Especially the '69 Pontiac TA. Damn, that's nice.

#29, Yeah, fear my thundering 2.2L. It's a nice upgrade over the stock engine, but it's still a 4-cylinder engine in a wrong-wheel-drive car. It may have power, but I bet it'll have traction problems.

#29, So you mean the car(I use the word loosely in this case) wasn't fast with its stock factory motor so to try to beat an American v-8, the guy swapped it and is adding a turbo. All that extra money may actually make a race fair.
