For a 97, that price is good.

Ouch!
That dealer may actually be a wholesale lot. They contain cars that no one can sell. They might have gotten them from auctions as well.
If you get it from a private seller, check to see if there is a lemon law in effect in your state. After three days, if it craps out, you can return it. |

#22, it is a wholesale lot. There are TONS of wholesale lots in KS/MO. Sadly, my dad has said no to auctions. I wanted to go to an auction I saw an ad for in the paper. They had a wide variety of newish cars that had been siezed. Here are some examples of what the ad listed
2000 Ford Expedition 69k $1100 starting bid
1999 Nissan Sentra 4A $800 starting bid
2002 Ford Focus wrecked $500 starting bid
and they also had a local serial killer's 1995 Dakota for bidding at $300 |

#24, oh true. I didn't realize Mountaineers were AWD all time tell I looked it up. |
