#60, I'm already running 350 lb-in. springs in the rear, so the front (650 lb-in.) is a little too soft for the rear suspension to really do what it's supposed to under braking. So, I'll take the spring rate up another step, and that should be about it as far as suspension modifications go. The only remaining work items are adding more bracing (probably some tower braces and/or a K-member brace; depends on how much flex is evident with the new springs) and getting a poweradder on there. |

Have now put 750-850 lb-in progressive H&R race springs and Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable front struts in. Car has been realigned yet again and a bumpsteer kit has been added. I am satisfied that the suspension is complete, barring the need for any further bracing.
HP-Performance (the shop which damaged my engine) gave me the SCT Pro-racer package free, so I've now got complete datalogging and EEC editing capabilities. I have ordered a wideband O2 sensor, which will enable me to do any tuning I need, assuming that I can learn the software and techniques.
Bracket and head unit for the supercharger have arrived, along with some fuel system bits. I will sell the entire kit once I have all the parts. I have ordered an 11 PSI Procharger kit which I intend to use instead. Screw you, Pete Campbell. |
