If it ever got traction*, it'd probably break 13s as-is. Target, with a poweradder, is roughly enough power to run high 12s.

*to back this up, there was a 3.8L engine which was slightly less modified than my 4.2 which made 237 RWHP. With a 4.30 rear axle, he hit something silly like 13.99. I've got more displacement, a newer version of the same heads, and a similar (4.10) rear axle, so I should be able to match that acceleration. However, I also have 350 lb/in rear springs, so it'd take a miracle to get the thing to "hook."

You can tell it's Washington, because the sky is grey and the ground is wet. :P

Seattle was dry n' hot when I visited it in August... when I was there in Feb. a few years ago it was rainy, wet and depressing

I'd rather live in some southwestern desert type place. I liked the heat of central Florida, just not the humidity. Plus, it'd be good for the car (less rust!). :p

Thankfully, not like much. :p Sort of a hollow gurgling sound at lower RPMs, and the familiar weedwhacker-like raspy sound is back in full force above 3500. It's relatively quiet; and it's easy to identify the exhaust note as that of an even-fire V6 (which yes, I consider desirable--I want it to be obvious to the trained ear that I'm driving around with a hotrodded boat anchor under the hood).

I'll see if I can get a good recording over the weekend.

I think a Roush style exhaust skirt would look good on it.

#32, Nah, usually I just toss a microphone under the car. :p

edit: and this is the quietest the car has been in over a year. Especially on the highway.

#34, I have better things to do than add ground effects that reduce the car's usability even further. Like buy more suspension parts. :D

#38, That's true, there's a guy at my college that owns a Roush Stage 3 Mustang, I don't know how the hell he manuevers it around without leaving his front and rear bumpers in the lot.

Besides, the entire point to this is that I'm trying to keep it somewhat recognizable. I want it to be obvious that it's a mechanically bastardized but cosmetically almost-stock V6 car, just for the sheer idiocy of the concept.
