who ever made that movie must be skin alife and put sand over his meat. this charger worth more than all ricers in that movie combine
and i dont think it can pull a wheelie without some major rear end cutting for a pair of Mickey T 12" slicks
the hood of this car is full of shit, notice the gap of the cut to the engine . the blower is bolted onto the hood and u can see that from the finial crash (hurts me to see that). for crying out loud, the thottles are not even open in this picture!!
other things, when Dom gets into the green elcips, WHAT WAS HE STANDING ON!! THE FLOOR GOT RIP FROM THE FIRST RACE remenber! those civics went under the truck is full of shit, i sew a rollcage in the orange Supra at the finial crash. Dom and his slut was touching each other for minuts without getting naked! fix up a POS trashed up supra when he could get a used one from ebay for alot less.bought NOS in the morning, got Nos ready by night....they could work in a race team making big bucks! |

...its not too hard to install a nitrous system in a day, if you know what you are doing. |

Remember how in the movie, Vin Diesel's riceboy character tells the cop that he's never driven the car because he's afraid of it? Now THAT says it all. |

direct port nitrous is damn near impossible in one day, you have to remove the heads and drill the block and all sorts of fun stuff. So how do you "crack the welds on the intake" with the nitrous going directly into the cylinders i ask. BTW, the charger in the F&F had an automatic tranny 318ci Max Wedge (seriously what it was called). It was a '68 with a '70 front end, I think. The car did run, but the blower was just bolted on top, not actually connected. It was normally aspirated and carburated, and just about everytime they'd use the jacks to make it wheelie it would flood. It had the same tires the whole time, in case you wonder. Since it's running on the ever popular Torq-Thrust IIs, I would guess that the rear tires were maybe 6-7" wide, obviously too small for a wheelstand at all, let alone a 900hp (according to dialogue) one. Wheelstands with the wheels spinning are very common, it's just the degree to which they spin.

You wanna see a real wheelstand, search for "sick camaro wheelie" on morpheus/kazaa. The poor guy blows up his tranny. And no, I'm not obsessed with the movie, a lot of the previous info was just common sense and paying attention. BTW, that is the same charger as the one in blade, odd but true. |

The one in Blade was a tubbed '68 with a hood scoop. I don't think it's the same car. BTW, the Charger wasn't the only upside to the movie...when that trucker started running the riced up Civics off the road and blowing them up with his shotgun....that was another upside. |

I have one thing to say in the movie's defence. How can this promote rice when they work with the engines? Riceboys want to LOOK fast when they aren't. These cars are fast. I'm not saying it's a good movie or anything, but some of you have your definition of a riceboy fucked up. |

I agree. they weren't just some dumb kids plastering stickers from the local speed shop on the side of their car. They actually raced them. I think it was a good movie, from a guilty-pleasure-entertainment standpoint. :P |

Personally, I'll take either Dom's car(3000GT, correct?) and/or the Supra! |

wrong. Dom's car was the Veilside RX-7. From left to right it was RX-7, RJ de Vera's Civic, Ja Rule's Integra, and that annoying cop guy's Eclipse. |

also, I'm not afraid to admit that a 900hp wheelstanding charger scares the shit out of me too. My dad's is scary, almost TOO much power, you're afraid you're gonna break something or hit someone while your front wheels are off the ground. |

I got my 'bird to spin its rear wheels with the front tires 3/4 of an inch off the ground. No, its no big accomplishment, but I got em to spin while the front was in the air.

If this car is a '68, then it has '69 taillights. I remember the lights on this car being retangular, like a '69 or '70, not 4 circular ones (like a '68). And the cars in F&F were rice. Period. |
