Description:
I've always wondered why they made Metro convertibles... I mean the only reason people get droptops is to show em off... nobody looks cool in a Metro...

If someone solely buys a convertible to show off, they're an idiot. I want a convertible because I appreciate open-air motoring. I have the ability to appreciate a cheap, economical convertible.

#1, I think you are among the few who buys a convertible for that reason. I mean, if you wanted to feel air there's windows and a sunroof. I'm just sayin that of all vehicles, a METRO was among the most unlikely to deserve a droptop

There's a clean red one up the road for sale for $1200. Though I hate to admit it, I'm actually kind of interested. o_O

If I did get one, though, I'd do the 13278 conversion.

Well, the VW Cabrio wasn't much of a car either, the droptop was pretty much it's only allure aside from having a very economical engine

I thought the VW Cabrio was quite a nice convertible... my dad has one (an '01 or '02... I can't remember exactly)

#13, Well, the original poster seemed to be arguing that only cars that are sufficently cool to start with should have em..... I liked the Cabrio too

#12, I'd totally sport a Cabrio, though.

Speaking of the Cabrio, am I the only one who thought that the Cabrio commerical from a few years back where the people are driving at night to get to a party is one of the best television commercials EVER?
