Well, this looks saveable, new front clip, radiator, possibly a fan and couple of hoses, and he's back in buisness

Yeah, it's currently being fixed. He had some update photos on April 22nd, and they've gotten the old clip off and are still looking for new sheetmetal.

gonna be hard to find good condition original sheet metal, he might have to settle for reproduction.

makes sense, there's more damage along the top part of the car than the botttom.

Right after the crash, you have that sinking feeling in your stomach, and that really bad thought in the back of your head, "Do I really want to get out and see how bad the damage really is?" - I've only had to have that experience once, and I NEVER want to have it again!

Looks like he had too, can't see very well over a hood in that shape

I bet he was just hoping the front end was still recognizable...

Yeah, if you can SEE the front of your car above the hoodline, you KNOW it's gonna be bad

That's pretty much what the front end of my Mustang looked like after the close encounter of the Isuzu Trooper kind. I know the feeling, Low-Tech. That I-don't-even-wanna-know-how-trashed-my-car-is feeling.

In response to post #13, I had that kind of feeling when I was trying to park my Cavalier in a REALLY tight space, and backed right into a semi-trailer...I thought my tailgate was probably ruined, as I was actually CAUGHT UP on the semi-trailer, but once I floored it, and disconnected myself, I got out, and found out that all I had done was scrape the paint off down to the bare metal. That was it.

#13 I've had so many, Low-Tech, I really don't get that feeling anymore. I just figure it's gonna be scrapped. Now, I'd get that feeling if my Tempest...no, shut up, don't think it, knock on wood.
