Description:
I know you guys are probably sick of my diecast collection, but these are unusual. I found 2 Treasure Hunt cars within 2 months in retail stores. The Charger goes for about 25.00 on Ebay and the Cuda 15.00.

Do you leave any in stores, or do you keep em all for yourself?

nice. I used to be really into HW this summer cuz I had so much free time, and disposbale income. I have somewhere between 700 and 800 MOMC, and about 150 or 200 other brands (Jada, Maisto, etc) and around 100 or so Matchboxes MOMC.

damn! That is a rough estimate for me. When I first started collecting I opened everything for display but later stopped that and got some racks - http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/3338/rackyg8.jpg

I just open all of mine up. Value is 2nd to getting to play with my Hotwheels.
No idea how many I've got now, but I haven't found many good ones the past year or so. Everything seems to be freakish representations of cars rather than just a scaled version.

Crap, is Hot Wheels unable to get a DoH licesence. First the Dixie Challenger in the 80s, based on the WRONG gen Charger to boot, and now this, which is almost right and probably inspired by last years big-screen abortion, but has a FUCKING 06 on the door >:(

#10, How could a Challenger be a wrong gen Charger?

I missed something.

T'wasn't a Challenger, it was based on an early 70s Charger, but called "Dixie Challenger"

It looks like some weird hybrid Challenger proportions with Charger styling cues.

#12, well, the Treasure Hunt does. This casting came out in 2005, and plus, Mattel didn't have rights to the General Lee name since ERTL already had rights.
