Ah.... And yes, they were trying to cling to GM to keep themselves going in the US, kinda like the way Renault latched on to AMC right before they abandoned the US market in 83'

Why would GM want them, it's not like anything reliable has ever come out of Korea. Daihatsu sunk, Hyundai would sink if it wasn't for the warantee (the Tiburon's all they have that's worth a shit.)
