The Model T is held up by many people as cementing/codifying "what a car was" for the masses... but, dangit, it was the Austin 7. It codified the basic layout of controls and how a car should be driven, and copies of it laid the foundation of sooooo many other carmakers.

#2, Your average person today would have a harder time driving a Model T than a Model A, mostly due to the fact that even if you knew how to drive a stick, the pedals on a T don't "work" the way you THINK they will....
