The closest to a stock 12 second pass I've seen was a stock motor SS with M/T ET Street (aka drag slicks) that ran a 12.97. Not all that they're hyped up to be.

And anyway since when did a skyline become a drag car.

yeah, me and cams agree on that. R32 and R34 are the only skylines worth anything. I like the R32 best because it's lighter.

#42, exactly. Gimme a R32, and a bit of time to get used to the handling dynamics, and I'll kick a hefty amount of ass on anything involving multiple turns. Just most americans only think of performance in terms of quarter mile times.

I'm just sick of kids sayin' how hot shit they are. I'm gonna take a boat to Japan just to roast one once my engine's done.

Sure they're over hyped, but that's life. Doesn't mean they're not good cars, ok?

TI mate, if you can find a stock skyline thats up for a race in Japan good luck to you. But you will get them over 180kmh, as thats where the speed limiter kicks in.

Never said they weren't good cars, I've never even seen one up close. Look like granny-mobiles, but all I hear says otherwise. But don't underestimate my car off the line either. She can spin 'em all day long, but when I want her to hook up, she's gone.
