#24, the 4AGE isn't know for it's tourque output, even the GZE supercharged deriviative... it's pretty much a function of the pulley, injestors and cams in this case. I'll get a dyno run and post it for y'all.

Alllright! Update on the Corona! ^_^ Sounds like it's coming together real nicely man, and you know how I've become a huge fanboy of LIGHT cars... that thing is gonna kick so much ass...

Y'ever think about posting on Ricecop Forums? I'm sure there are quite a few people there that would love to hear about your really neat car collection right now... MR2, SVX, the Corona, of course...

#26, Thank you, DiRF. I've though about joining, and occasionally browse but I don't want to join as I have as many internet addictions as I can afford while still having a social life at this point... between Ron, Audiokarma, Ektopia and myspace I just don't have the time, it does seem like a great forum though!

#25, But the H22 that has less torque has a good deal more hp stock. I just find it funny.

#28, Well Honda makes some great motors, but they're usually more about revs and response than low down torque, I guess that's a philosophy on design that comes from being a motorcycle maker. The 4AGE was basically a Yamaha reverse engineered design of the Lotus 16 valver from the 60s... it's lack of torque is also probably traceable back to Yammie's roots as a motorcycle maker.

In all honesty, I really don't consider Honda to be a completely full-fledged automotive company... I mean, seriously... they don't make trucks... and they didn't build a vehicle in large quantities that had a driveshaft until the S2000 and AWD CR-V came around (maybe one of those S sports cars from the '60s had one, I forget... I know the early ones were chain-driven...)... they've always been narrowly focussed on economical and FWD vehicles and not much else...

#30, Interesting viewpoint. The S500 and early S600s were chain driven, the S800 was shaft driven all the way to production's end. If Honda wanted to get serious about performance luxury cars with RWD platforms it would destroy BMW and Mercedes the same way they could if they built a line of full sized triucks and put some effort into it.

Also, I know it's kinda a gritboy thing to say, but Honda's got a severe aversion to putting more than 6 pots under the hood of a vehicle... I think that's really hurting the sales of vehicles like the Acura RL and the Ridgeline...

Don't get me wrong, I realize that the V6s in those vehicles are fantastic and produce more than enough power, it's just the general gritboy attitude of the American people that feel they "need" a guldurn V8 under that thar hood.

Another thing a lot of people don't realize, Honda is only the 4th most popular car brand in Japan, behind Toyota, Nissan, and surprisingly, Suzuki.

#33, I know, I know... but I can't be without music. It won't have a heater, interior or rear seats so I think I can get away with it... it's going to be well hidden, too.

#34, But you DO realise that the rollcage will kill you even in a small collision, right? You need to be firmly strapped to a bucket seat and wear a helmet. If you don't, you will be thrown onto the cage, hell, you can even shatter your skull by just swerving or hitting a bigger bump.

#35, I'm leaning towards that, yes... we'll see. Maybe no rear seat and carpet but door panels and dash will stay.

#36, just a rear cage, not a full one. My head will be aimed for the windshield should the worst ever happen.

#38, Well, good luck *almost split his skull during a practice session in a rollcageless car*
