Description:
The car is a 1925 Julian Sport Coupe. One prototype was built, and it is still in existence. It was conceived as a lightweight, low-slung (for its time), almost Lancia-like automobile of high quality. The key feature of this car that relates it to the 911 is its air-cooled six-cylinder engine mounted in the rear. The Julian's engine, however, one-upped the Porsche by being a radial-layout design, with its cooling fan driven directly off the crankshaft (see photo). |

Um, isn't basically a motor to an airplane? Instead a propeller, it's a fan blade?

Gotta love those solid wheels that seemed to be so popular on '20s vintage cars. They're hideous, but they have a certain historical charm.
