Wow, that is one awesome rendering, I deem it desktop worthy until I find a another picture worthier that this. Which won't be an easy task but that one JPG of a basket full of kittens is tempting...
Cool, it sits perfectly on my taskbar

Fun facts:
1. Since people have asked how long these take, I actually kept track. Around 8-8.5h total.
2. The wheels are actually accurate down to the number of facets on the lug nuts. Since I'm not about to post this thing in 8000X6000 resolution, you'll have to take my word for that.
3. I actually managed to get the mesh in the front grilles
4. Minor stylistic change: In addition to the usual black lines, I tried to make strategic use of lighter-colored highlight lines. You can see this around some of the side moldings, in particular.
5. I had both the side badge and the F40 emblem (on the tail) already from some other work I'd done; with a little manipulation, they fit perfectly on the side of the car.
6. This resulted in a >5MB Illustrator file, which is just stupid. (Illustrator is, obviously, vector software; file size is proportionate to the number of objects in the file, so more complex images are typically larger.)

#2, I like both, but I prefer the more aerodynamic nose of the F40. |
