Hm, the guy must be Polish. Let's say you make some cash by selling produce on the nearest bazaar. Instead of investing into a van (to carry more produce to the bazaar), the average polish farmer will buy a Mercedes or Audi, and carry produce to the bazaar in it. Idiots.

Years ago, my dad was browsing eBay, and found a gorgeous grandfather clock being sold locally, with "Local Pick-up" as an option. After studying the dimensions, he realized it wouldn't fit safely in his Pacifica... so he took his VW Cabrio and stuck it straight-up behind the front passenger seat (said seat having been moved way forward, obviously) and used the hoop to help secure it. IIRC, he said he drove 30 miles home that way, after making sure there was no rain in the forecast.
