#21, Nixon got us out of a horrible war.
Dubya got us into a horrible war.

Nixon opened up talks and trade with China.
Dubya closes off talks with the UN and EU.

Dubya lied about something that has cost the lives of thousands of soldiers and hundreds of billions of dollars, sending our economy into the shitter.
Nixon lied about... uh... participating in a cover-up where some idiots broke into a hotel room and stole some papers?

...and that makes Nixon a worse President?

BUT OH NOES HE ACTUALLY GOT CAUGHT IN HIS LIE SO THAT MAKES IT WORSERER.

#23, I've always thought that Nixon gets a much worse rap than he deserves. I'm sure every President has does things as immoral (if not more so) than the Watergate cover-up, the only difference being they didn't get caught for it.

#24, I'd rather have a President that DOES get caught in whatever crap he does rather than one that gets away with it scot-free.

I think history will prove George W. Bush to be the worst President in American history. I'm not talking bad in kind of a James Polk or Ulysses S. Grant kind of way, I mean like, incompetence on an unprecedented level.

On another note, I think we should elect a President like the Mexicans always do...some well-tanned, single, playboy type, with multiple mistresses, a yacht, and who shows up to press conferences in a Polo shirt and jeans.

I just tire of uptight, straight-laced facade of Washington politics. It's all fake, anyway.

The current crop of Presidential candidates sure are depressing.

-Barack Hussein Obama - He's toooooo fucking young and inexperienced. The race card is propping him up all the way.
-Hillary Rodham Clinton - Her husband, in retrospect, was FUCKING AWESOME. He was so great at bullshitting other countries into loving us. She, however, is *not* her husband. She is a psycho-hosebeast.

-John McCain - And we thought KERRY flip-flopped on issues?! He's now pro-war just to get the nomination in the GOP Primaries... ugh. He's always kinda rubbed me the wrong way.
-Rudy Guiliani - He looked pretty good until his whole "OMG vote Republican or we'll have another 9/11!" kick... he lost me.

-Fred Thompson - For now, among the "front-running" candidates, he appears to be the best, IMO. He's old. He's been 'retired' from politics for a little while now. But dammit, he seems the most grounded and sensible candidate right now.

#29, Hillary gets my goat. Can't stand that woman. Pro-censorship, pro-war, anti-gun, and faker than a three dollar diamond ring. No thanks.

I used to like McCain, but the trouble with McCain is he's a soldier, and contrary to popular belief, soldiers don't always make the best Presidents. He lets the Republican party beat him down (Bush used some particularly viscious smears against him to get the 2000 nomination, yet he still voices support for Bush), yet he constantly rolls over and plays bitch for them. Maybe he considers them his "commanding officers" or some such, but the guy seriously acts like he has no backbone.

Obama....ehh, whatever. Don't care one way or another about the guy, he has all the charisma of a dry turnip, despite what everyone else seems to think about him.

Rudy Guiliani. The guy who put his emergency offices in the World Trade Center after the first time it was bombed. He might as well have "walking, talking fuck-up" stamped right on his forehead.

I'll vote third party or independent, otherwise I won't vote. I'm tired of the two-party system.

#23, you sound like my parents...

yes, bush is an asshat. but he is a very shrewd politician. ill agree that hes one of the worst presidents, but somehow people still like him. and that takes something. its called giving the devil his due, not supporting him.
