Nice, very nice. Older Trans Ams like this are popular around here, but rarely in this good of shape. They're usually rusted out junkers with hanging exhausts.

It's a 1978. The easiest way to tell them apart are the decals that say "Trans Am." They were taller and narrower in 1977, as pictured here: http://image.highperformancepontiac...m+rear_view.jpg The "honeycomb" grille with the "Pontiac" logo affixed to the driver's side was also new for 1978.

The '77-'78 T/A was simply the best looking 2nd-gen F-body... they ruined it in '79.
