Description:
Main St in Bristol, RI, home of the longest-running 4th of July parade (since 1785) I believe they keep it like this all year and give it a fresh coat when needed.

From the thumbnail, I thought this was Mulsanne Straight from LeMans. I surprised the French didn't steal that idea.
