A person can make a roof collapse, at high speed, but not all the width of the car, so yes, it's more a rollover than kids. Especially if it's a truck ! Or a caribou, though they usually pass thru the windshield to end up in your face... Crushing you to death...

It's mud, I think. Look at the dash.

Of course, if the roof collapsed on the driver's head, it might have exploded like a blood and brain-filled balloon, causing the windshield splatter.
