nah. you see. ricers belive that impala's stole the skyline's tail lights. but for some reason. they fail to see that the skyline stole the Corvette's tail lights.

. i'm probably wrong as hell.

I dunno when the Impala and the Corvette were first produced, but the first skylines were produced in 1957. The ALSI- 1 series was built from 1957 until 1958 in sedan and station wagon form. It was powered by the GA30, a 1500ccm OHV inline 4 engine producing 60 hp at 4400rpm.

the first corvette was 1953...you should hate yourself for not knowing that. the first impala badge was used in 1958

Well, like I said before, I'm not the biggest buff on domestics. But I don't hate them either. All the sports cars in my family with the excpetion of an Iroc-Z have been Porsche or Mercedes. So I never really devoted a lot of time to the domestics history.
