i'm actually lookin for one of these, beat up of course, to use for delivering pizzas. i found one for $500 but needed a new water pump and something else (can't remember). if i find one for under $1000 i'll probably pick it up. is it true they get better than 40 mpg?

#2, AW11s are pretty well impossible to find here. to be honest, i'm not sure i've ever seen one in my town.

back in the day my friend Randy had a silver CRX. We would drive to Chicago and back (3-4 hr drive one way) and maybe use slightly more than a quarter tank. Amazing mileage. My mountaineer on the other hand needed to be tanked up on the way there... and on the way back (did some city driving too)

#9, Incredibly over-rated IMO.

What I think we can all agree on would be any available sporting Honda 4 swap into a second-gen CRX.

#12, Hahaha! That much torque would make a weapon out of this thing.

The first year of the supercharged MR2 ('87?) it was the fastest accelerating 0-30 car on earth, seriously.

#13, I believe it. 1987 isn't a year known for a bunch of super quick cars. Not sure how much of a bragging right it is though, to be the quickest 0-30 car, unless all you want to do is win stoplight drag races in school zones. :P
