Well, the song was written in 1958 so... "little Nash Rambler" makes perfect sense to me.

Yeah, reading more about the 1957 Rambler Rebel... holy crap, if I were to invest in a classic car, it'd be near the top of my "WANT" list...

I do wonder... did anyone attempt to run these in Nascar? With its second-only-to-the-Corvette speed, it might have been quite competitive... but perhaps its reliability was in question, or Nascar had rules against running intermediate/compact bodystyles at that time?
