My dad has a Cabrio... I drove it a bit in ~2001 and again earlier this summer... I actually quite like it. http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/vw_cabrio.jpg It's a tautly-engineered, efficient, sensible convertible. And it's not ugly, even with the top up. ...and amazingly, for such a small convertible, it can actually fit three people plus three suitcases. Believe it... or not.
