Description:
87' Chrysler Conquest TSI

I towed it in last Friday, owner thinks the motor is blown. If it is, I'll see if he wants to sell it to me

They're supposedly working on a kit for this swap right now *hint, hint*

Go back to turbo. The world doesn't need more domestic V8'd "imports". I'm tired of V8 RX-7s, and seeing how a Conquest/Starion is much rarer, it's even more of a sin.

#5, Here you go with your fanboy shit again. What exactly is wrong with upping displacement?

I posted in jest, anyway. I doubt LTR would be investing that much time and effort into this car.

I wouldn't want to see a V8 in this car either. I wonder if a Mopar turbo four would suit it.

#7, I don't know of any FR setups for the 2.2/2.5 turbo.

Uh, guys... this is LTR we're talking about. He probably has a spare V8 lying somewhere that he's already visually placed in this car...

If the motor is blown, nothing else makes sense besides a swap of some kind.

How do you not know if your motor is blown?

#12, That's just the rumor, that's what the owner told me when I towed it, but who knows what the deal really is yet.

#13, Ah, I figured it was along those lines. I'm no mechanic by any stretch but I've been around enough fudged up motors to tell. I remember when my friend's car blew a piston and he had to limp it home, I thought somebody was walking by my house whacking a piece of metal with a stick when he drove...err lurched by.

Things are looking promising, the car has been moved to the backlot where the wrecks/impounds end up, whatever's wrong with it must be serious.

And I have the winning bid, sale still has to be OK'd by the shop since they have the title, but it looks like it's a go.

The motor has a blown head gasket, no oil pressure and a spun bearing or two, the clutch is also fried, so it's going to need some love
