Well, if I had $9000 hanging around and I just HAD to blow it on a used car, I'd look for something like an early 90's Camaro or Mustang in good condition but with high mileage. Then, I'd start shopping for crate motors.

I certainly wouldn't drop $8700 on a riced-out MR2 (even though i like MR2s).
