#8, Not really. The Venza came out in 2009, roughly the same time the refreshed Edge and Murano came out.
But unfortunately, most people up-shopped to a Highlander, because the Highlanders' price was close enough to the Venza, whereas the Edge had no three-row brother close to its price range. Ditto Murano. I doubt people cross-shopped the Edge with Explorer given that the 2009 Explorer was a truck instead of a three-row crossover. Whereas, Nissan had only the Murano for a three-row crossover, and now they have the Murano and Pathfinder.
