#3, Not bad, especially considering it doesn't look too rusty. Could be the odd hole in the floorpan, but that's not too bad.

Whoa, unibody pickup? Like, no frame?

#6, Like, the cab and pickup bed are one piece. Take a close look and you'll see that there's no space between them as there would be on a standard pickup with a bed mounted to the frame separately from the cab.

#7, Oh, I see. But if I remember right there is some twisting of the frame in the pickups (viedo comparison of modern trucks actually made it look like a LOT of twisting), didn't the unibody crack?

#8, This was a big part of their controversey....they weren't considered "heavy duty" enough, which was important to most fleetside truck buyers since fleetside beds had more cargo space than stepside beds.

The "integral cab" was standard in 1961 (unless the buyer ordered a stepside) and was so rejected by buyers that it became optional for 1962 and 1963, with a separate bed for both the standard fleetside and stepside models. The integrated cab/bed trucks were marketed as "Styleside" for those years, and marketed as a light-duty, style-oriented truck. For 1964, the integral cab was dropped entirely.
