I think it kind of sucks that someone did such an irreversible modification to a fairly rare vehicle....but it DOES look pretty decent. |

Found some info on it: Apparently it was built four or five years ago by a guy from Illinois named Steve Schall, who died not long after building it.
It's actually built from an AMC Javelin, which was shortened and had AMX reproduction quarter panels and an AMX hood installed. The flat rear deck was made from the trunk lid of an AMC Hornet, and the trunk lid of this car is the stock Javelin lid rolled flat. The engine is a 0.30 bored AMC 390 with dual four barrels....apparently pretty quick. |

The rear deck is too long and that lump in it looks really peculiar. I like the original much better. |

Kinda GTAV-esque, a "style" car, not necessarily a real one, but you KNOW what they were "ripping off". |
