I still love muscle cars, just because I love the sound, the torque, the styling, and the era they were built in. And even as much as I still love Novas, Camaros, Chargers, Mustangs, etc., it's that same overexposure that has me looking more and more at Mercury Cyclones, Buick GSs, and AMCs of all kinds. |

A 'muscle car' for me is a modern highwayman's steed: it need to be menacing, loud and show signs of being driven *hard*. An overrestored sunday driver/trailer queen does not fit that image at all. |

#6, Not factory stock, no, but any modified version of a lower end Nova, Camaro, Mustang, etc. can be considered a muscle car by proxy. I mean, let's face it, Mom's grocery getter didn't have Cragar SSs, Hugger Orange paint, black skunk stripes, and an open element air cleaner and steel braided hoses. |
