2000 Toyota Origin.

Retro-themed styling inspired by the original Toyota Crown of 1955. I actually kinda like it. :)

I saw a blurb in Car & Driver back then where they were ridiculing this "dated" looking car.

Personally, I think it's time to bring back these sort of styling cues.

It has no character. It's okay for a car to be retro if it's emulating a car that was superior for its day. That car is just boring.

This is the first time I've seen these angles of it. And I still don't care for it. Perhaps it's partly attributable to the fact the original Crown was a tiny little car and this thing looks as big as a Lexus LS430, even though it's supposedly midsize.

This is a supremely goofy looking car. The cabin seems to clash with the front and back
