#3, Don't be too hard on him... it took him six months to figure out how to turn off the datestamp... the more complicated stuff may be out of his reach.

Kneeling would not only have fixed the shadow, but would have produced a more appealing angle as well.

Most of the time, I either kneel, or I try to get an extreme high-angle... depending on the aesthetics of the car... or if it's in a tight, confined space. (such as the "WTF Porsche 928" from a while back)
