#2, It's great! It's kind of a shock for me... it's so goddamn quiet! I'm used to non-stop clanging and above else ungodly bearing whine. I've hit 170kph (top speed so far... but with a disconnected MAF) and... nothing to report. It's almost boring but *fuck* is it relaxing. The plastic feels rather flimsy but the upholstery is green and close to furry-ish velvet. Nice in the French-crazy sense.
Like the old Frog, it's really sensitive to throttle in the corners. Yeah, it can push if you stupidly floor it mid-corner, the torque curve is pretty steep and the engine block itself weighs 125kg (heaviest engine 206 ever had) but the faster you go, the more you steer it with the right foot. And yeah, you can go sideways even on tarmac but I'm not brave enough yet, plus I think that doing stupid shit with stock seat and belts can only end badly.

#5, Drivetrain-wise it also feels good. There is almost no interference on the steering wheel even if you reach the peak of the torque curve. Power-wise I think it's OK for me. In lazy mode I shift at 2000rpm, 2500rpm will get you easily through even dense city traffic. It really pulls best in the 3000-4000rpm range and falling below that will bog you: I'm not used to that and I find it tricky when racing.
Shifting is exactly how I like it: using two (sometimes even one) fingers in daily driving but there are no problems when hammering it. Slick and engages with a satisfying soft thud. Two complaints: it is pretty short and/or seems to lack a 6th gear. When engine braking in 3rd and 2nd gears you can faintly hear the bearings... ooops. I Don't plan of touching that, however, at least not for now.

#6, Some things needed work, but it's 100% operational now. It needed some new fuses, filters, AC needed fixing, etc. I've got a radio this week, I'm doing brakes next month after paycheck as the disk are worn, something squeals in the rear and I've managed to set them on fire: one too many braking from 150kph to 40kph will do that. I'll either go for a full set of OEM EBCs or ATEs as Peugeot recommends.
To do: get a new trunk cover (current one has huge aftermarket speaker holes in it), kill a rattle or two, put a valve train repair kit on it (elt, tnesioner, etc.), get a spare wheel and original jack/wrench pack, get the thing - as much as I hate the word - detailed. Next year: exhaust, maybe shocks... that's it. I'd also like to get some nice 15 inch 'fan' alloys from the XT version.
I plan to make it a nice, 100% factory condition car. It's a daily driver, but I will race it, reasonably of course. Even after I get myself a race toy I will still air it out from time to time.

#7, Any accessories will be original Peugeot: I might even ditch the Pioneer I just bought and get an original Peugeot radio in. Actually, save for the wheels I don't think it can be made to look much better. I think it looks good stock, don't you?

#8, I like this little thing, yeah. Overseas (mainly in London) I saw my fair share of riced 206s. Made me wanna vomit. Whatever you do, do not put altezzas on it (Like I had to say it, but still).. Gorgeous color too I might add :)

I've got a bit of a dillema with the brakes: should I go all brand-name OEM, get some sport pads (ones that don't ruin the disks and don't work best at 800 degrees Celsius) or just fuck it and go for an all-disk conversion from an XS?

#13, In a sense, this is the closest to WRC a road 206 can get (2.0l turbo). And remember that Skoda Fabia WRC engine used a 1.9 TDi engine block as a base and the 206 WRC used a stock(!) engine block from a 405 T16.
Regarding brakes... I'm just waiting for a paycheck to go to the shop and ask them how much what would cost.

Shit, they gave us some crappy big stickers at the last event. Seems they're made from toilet paper, it's impossible to take them off in one piece: you just rip off the top layer >:(
Guess I'll have to use some benzine on that shit. Note to self: stick shit on glass or take it off right the fuck away after crossing the finish line from now on.

#17, I was dumb enough to put it on metal. Then again, they were to big to fit on windows. Luckilly, looks like some hot water and a sponge will do the trick.

The rain sensing wipers are overzealous, and are especially allergic to spray/mist coming off other cars. Plus each time the blades move there's an audible relay click. And click. And click. And click. The only other options are constant fast and constant very fast. Still, nothing leaks so far... this thing starts to seem a bit boring. Then again is has quite a bit of bump steer at the back on sharp corners over some nasty pot holes/tram tracks. Control arm bearings? Shocks? But my sisters' Fiesta also behaves the same...
