I assume it's a confiscated vehicle? Though, I pity the drug-dealer that was driving essentially a Mercedes minivan. ...or maybe, because these sold so poorly for Mercedes in America, they dumped 'em on the fleet market super cheap?

#1, There's a Mercedes plant in Tuscaloosa. I wouldn't put it past them to have given the county some Mercedes vehicles as a goodwill gesture for PR purposes.

They were given to them by MB, in and around tuscaloosa(my school town) MB police vehicles(Vance, Sheriff, Tuscaloosa) aren't an uncommon sight, though you rarely see them on patrol.
