It would be a 1988 VL holden commodore calais. Very nice car here in oz. This one is a 3L strait 6 turbo. They are THE cult car in australia. A few came stock with a turbo its a nissan engine cant remember off the top of my head what. But put a 3 inch exaust system on them they do 12's everything else stock. |

Nah ya rite there but this on has part of the racing kit on it. I'll find a more stock one and a non calais. BTW the V8 versions are pretty damn nice too. |

This is a great looking car and fast too, but c'mon! It does NOT have anywhere near 492 hp at the wheels or anywhere else. I guess it's easy to post phony horsepower numbers on a web page. Those of us who have actually built engines and dyno tested them have some idea of what realistic horsepower numbers are. This car might have 300 horsepower, but it does NOT have 492.
I still like the car though! |

You must have one heck of a traction problem. What kind of tires do you run? |

Oh, thank GOD... for a moment there, I thought those tent sides behind the car were exhaust pipes. |

I'm skeptical too. 492 horses from a 3 litre engine, regardless of what the hell you do to it is kind of.... far off. Unless Aussie cars tune better or something (and I know that's not the case, Nissan engine), I'd have to see it on the track. |

Be skeptical all you want. But the proof is in the pudding, or in this case the dyno read out. Its called LOTS and LOTS of money, and heaps of boost. |
