I can understand someone, with an interest in American cars, importing a USDM car to Europe... but a W-body Monte Carlo? Really?

#5, Not really, no. Especially not if the Monte Carlo was fairly new when it was imported. It's hard to look at them through modern eyes as anything other than 15-year-old $1,200 beaters, though.
