#3, My uncle's '67 Corvette, built from a new 4-speed 427 Tri-Power car into a fully customized 600-hp club racer over 39 years. The guy who bought it planned to do a frame-off restoration to stock and then unload it at Barrett-Jackson for a profit when finished.

So look for a fully restored light blue (Lyndale Blue?) non-numbers-matching '67 Tri-Power coupe on the auction circuit at some point. It probably used to be 74583.

#3, It's happened, but once the top's been chopped, you can pretty much forget it.

#5, How so? A 427 Tri-Power 4 speed Corvette Sting Ray is ultra valuable in stock condition....more so than if customized.
