Cadillac Cimmaron

For some reason, my town is the dumping grounds for these things. One guy has three of them, another two people have one, I've seen 2 others driving around the general area, and an 8th is in a pile of similarly junked cars in a field of what used to be an auto body place down the road.

This is merely the BEST of them.

Even 30 years later - with an ATS that is light years away from this car in all respects - people are still droning on about this mess.

I still think, for its era, badging aside, the Cimarron was a fine compact car. If it had worn anything other than a Cadillac badge, it wouldn't have the horrible legacy is carries today.

#3, Take off the grille, and you have a fully-loaded Cavalier, which wasn't a bad car. It was the idea that, tasked with coming up with a competitor to the BMW 3 series for entry-level luxury yuppies of the 80's, THIS was the best they could do???
