In other news, it's hard to grab a passing vehicle with a phone while simultaneously driving a big rig.

"Honest, officer, I wasn't texting! I was taking a photo to share on a website frequented by only five other people!"

#3, I got pulled over for that once... note to self, don't take pictures of vanity plates in gated communities where the residents are friends with the county sheriff, let alone while in a work vehicle and on the clock.

No ticket but I had the sheriff himself roll up on me with another officer and ask me not to bring my camera in there anymore.

#4, can't really do that since its technically not private property.

#5, From a pragmatic standpoint, it's easier to obey than to drag it all through court, even if you eventually prevail. Most people are cool with reasonable requests, even if not 100% strictly legal. I just hate that some people go immediately to calling the cops, having such a "siege mentality" that everyone in the world is out to do them harm just isn't healthy.....

#6, Well if you live in a gated community - It would seem like all the "dregs" who live outside it are doing everything they can to take away your morally upright Protestant daughters hymen.

Cops are on speed dial.

#8, Meanwhile, Brittany is getting knocked up in the basement by her prep school tutor, but at least those lowlife truck drivers didn't get to her first....

Imagine having to explain to a cop that you were taking a picture of a license plate because it said "GRBGDAY" and you took that to be a reference to this.

...Yeah, they had no idea what I was talking about.
