For some reason, the GMC versions of this gen have proved surprisingly durable, for every restored late 60's c/k I see, I see TWO usually NON-restored GMCs.....

#2, On the flip side, the mid 80's squarebodies are the other way around.... the occasional really nicely preserved Jimmy or Sierra... but for every one of those, there's 5 or more hogged-but-still-running Silverados and K Blazers.

#1, Oddly enough, I'd say it's the opposite for me. I usually see Chevrolets of this vintage in decent stock or clapped out condition, and when I see the GMCs, they're usually street-rodded.

I hardly ever see GMCs of this era in any condition. Square body GMCs are even less common.
