Damn right it's functional. See the sticker on the window? That's C/Salt. Yes, this is a salt flats car. It runs an all-aluminum SVO Boss 429 hemi-head motor, de-stroked to 362CI to meet class restrictions. It makes over 700 horsepower, and this thing has recorded passes at over 200 MPH. Fast? I think so. |

wasn't it cheaper to build that rocket with an engine from F-18?
