Marty! You've got to help me! I was driving around Universal Studios, and parked the DeLorean somewhere, and I can't remember where I did! You've got to come back with me! Back, to the Studio backlot!

i dunno about with all the crap on it, but they would hit about 130... the oh i wish part is that there were plans for a twin turbo version. exactly 1 got built before the company went out of buisiness... twin turbo delorean, that would be sweet.

yeah, of course. i thought about saying something like "it could go faster, except for that time travel buisness" but decided against it.

Good, good. Yeah, they actually got a somewhat decent top speed, but it took all week to get there. A car like that just needs a decent mill in it.

yeah, that 6 was pathetic. i always fantasized about a lotus straight 6 back there, to back up the looks.

They sell reconditioned Deloreans with 190 hp, so that's a little better.

there's a guy down the street with one. those cars are so unbelievably short and wide. it's like 42 inches tall, and about 60 wide.

Don't give up hope, I swore one day I'd own a 2nd gen. Firebird, and then last year I got one off E-bay. It's in pieces in the garage, but hey, still happened didn't it? If anyone knows, how hard is it to get parts for a Delorean? Is there an aftermarket industry? I suspect so, but anyone know for sure?

I saw a website a little while ago where you can order a fully restored one, in stick or auto. I guess you could get parts from them...

yeah, because they're so rare, even if one gets wrecked real bad, someone will fix it up. I'm pretty sure they'res a good parts market for them, and a lot of the parts are interchangable with GM and peugot.
