Eveyone knows that adding 90 degree bends in the exhaust is great for performance!
4 of them no less! Probably lost 30 hp due to this.
Idiot!

putting bigger pipes than what the engine acttually needs would creat turbulence inside the exhaust system, which reduce out put.not to mention those 90 deg. turns. also, using muffler to increce the exhaust sound will reduce the out put. cuz when producing somthing(sound in thins case), it takes energy.

Jesuz: Exactly! Ricers don't realize that these stupid fart cans actually reduce power output. I've run small ricer type engines with no exhaust and they are not as loud as those with a fart can. This tells us that the muffler is designed specifically to amplify noise. This is done by creating a design that induces a ton of turbulance which in turn crreates excessive backpressure and hence the irritating noise. Remember the old glasspacks? They didn't flow very well, but they were loud! Garbage, just garbage!
Seems you know your stuff!

That tag probably means "Little Rocket", but with that exhaust system, he probably means "A Little Racket".
