Would it be possible to put a 2JZ/1JZ-GTE in one of these?

With the money yeah, a lexus V8 would be nice in it too. Just wondering how much does a supra manual half cut go for in the states.

Shit thats cheap, they cost upwards of AU$10 000 over here, but thats only an guess as no one has imported one that I know of because they cant find them. A cheaper way to go tho might be get a toyota chaser 2JZ-GTE 1/2 cut and then go find a manual gear box.

I havn't heard of Chaser half-cuts offered here, but I am sure you can get them imported. I know this has nothing to do with Toyota engines but I saw the R34 Skyline transmission selling for $15,000!

ya, I almost bought a 91 3000GT VR-4 but the transmission was going to need replacing so I did some research. I decided not to buy the car. Those transmissions are about $6000.

These things apparently go for big money, now, due to their rarity... and the fact that they're stunningly gorgeous doesn't hurt matters.
