FYI the "AK" is actually a civilian semi-auto version. It's not as crazy as it sounds; 7.62x39 still has pretty good stopping power and it won't accidentally kill people a half-mile away the way 7.62x51 does.

My uncle has a chinese one. Still a dumb choice for a hunting rifle, the barrels tend to be not very well made.
