#22 Not completely true. The people that go on shooting sprees in schools are fucked in the head. The fact that recent assholes involved in such activity were goth isn't the fault of the "goth subculture". It's the fault of parents who didn't do their jobs, an environment that ignored the problem, etc. I dig the "goth scene" to a degree, but it's who I am, not how I dress or what I listen to. I don't wear my black leather trenchcoat all the time.... I don't wear makeup. But I dig the night, the darkness. I draw skulls and werewolves. Yeah, I listen to Type O Negative and Nine Inch Nails. AND Dave Matthews Band and Paul Simon.

IM partially goth, ive got a farmers tan so im partially pale as crap, I like wereing black things and just like black in general and i also am someone who will make almost anyone back down from a fight with me just by looking at them, I find that last thing rather funny i have the power of feer over other people :-D

I just hate stupid people...... Like the kind who get confused when confronted with a fork in the road, and despite clear posted signage (322 East, left lane, 322 west, right lane) must stop on the shoulder and think about it... that's when it should be legal to roll down the window and shoot them in the head

#27 Yeah, well, the "Life Sucks" crowd fucks it up for everybody. To me, goth is someone who sees beauty in the darker side of life, and doesn't fear death like the majority of people do. To read (and appreciate) Poe, or walk through a graveyard in Autumn, or to feel the life in a crisp midnight breeze..... all the things labeled "spooky' or "weird" by the grand majority, to feel those things and vibe with 'em. To be fascinated by that which most fear. But those people have been around millenia before the term "goth" was coined.

#37, I don't fear death, it's the one guaruntee in life, what I fear is a painfull, protracted, prolonged and painfull death, I'd rather be shot in the head than waste away from a flesh-eating bacteria

I work at a medical clinic, I've got to clean the files of deceased paitent charts, people think I'm odd because I do funny things with pulling them, like mumble "Steve walks wearily down the street with his brim pulled way down low..................."
