All of those ground effects remind me of only one thing...

That picture was taken with colour enhancing film.. look how vibrant the trees are, even at night time.

lol. my car had a set of green neons when I got it. I think it still has em, I never turn them on, and I haven't checked to see if any have broken lately. I think they have fiberglas shields over them.

There was a guy at my high school who had neons on a '92 Firebird. 'Course, he also painted it screaming-ass yellow, put lame checkered-flag graphics down the side, and did jack f'in nothing on the motor. I beat it in my Mustang when I still had the old, worn-out, shot-ass 302 that burned a quart of oil every 100 miles.

The only car I've ever seen that looked good with neons was that blown, candy-apple red Thunderbird in "The Crow." That car was so damn campy anyway that it worked, and it would have been way cooler without the neon.
