I thought the common practice was to put large "dubs" on your car, not little 15 inchers

When we get that time machine built, I've got a couple of stops I'd like to make. 1956, 1958, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1974. Now the trick is if you can guess what we'd be doing at those stops. although we're not picking anything up in 1974. I am accepting guesses as to what those cars would be. regulars should be able to guess a fair bit of them from my previous postings.

At least ONE of those stops has to be for a mustang, right?

there's more than one mustang in there. 1969 is 3 cars, btw. 1969 was such a great year.

Hey forget picking the cars up, just drop me off, I'll see If I can get a job at a garage somewhere......... though knowledge of how to troubleshoot the CPU On a FOrd Explorer would probably be darn near useless............

I'll even narrow it down for you:
1956- GM
1958- Mopar
1967- Ford (sort of)
1969- GM, Ford, Mopar
1970- Mopar
1971- Ford
1974- Beat down chief designer of PintoStang with salami.

See if you can guess...

I think I can guess the 1974 bit...the year of the pintostang? V8's and convertibles also weren't available that year...

correct. 1974 I would personally beat the chief body designer of the Pintostang with either my bare hands or perhaps a large stick of salami. why salami? the world may never know.

as people guess them, I'll edit the narrowing down post to reflect what has been figured out.

One fringe benefit of all this time travel, you'd know EXACTLY when to sell your Enron AND Firestone stock.........

or IBM, for that matter. actually, buying honda stock in 1969 probably would result in a good long term investment. honda or datsun.

Or start betting some serious money on the outcome of Super Bowls, or how about this? Sneak into Al Capone's Vault before Geraldo opens it on TV and leave the following cryptic note inside "OJ did it"

Okay, I'll throw my hat in the ring. 1956: Chevy Bel Air. 1958: Chrysler 300something. 1967: Shelby Cobra. 1969: damn near everything was good that year, but I'd get a Boss 429, a Yenko Camaro and a Charger Daytona. 1970: Roadrunner Superbird. 1971: Mustang Boss 351.

I always kinda wanted to meet john lennon, so maybe I'd hook myself up with some backstage passes and warn him to watch his back when talking to his wife when she's in the car.
