#19, yes, like i said, only ford looks at them as 65s, what we know has the 64s had a 260 in it, the 289 wasn't put in untill mid 65 model year |

If I'm not mistaken, all '64 1/2 Mustangs are liscensed and titled as '64 models. I know a friend of mine had a black '64 1/2 coupe with a 289 (kinda junky, but he loved it) and it was titled as a 1964 model car. I suppose it was Ford alone that thought of them as '65s.
