Wait...so, from what I understand...

The BelAir was the most upscale sedan in Chevy's lineup...then the Impala became the upscale sedan.
Then in the '70s, the upscale-trim-level Impala became the Caprice...
In the '80s, the Impala name was phased out...
Then the Impala name came back as a kickass Caprice in the mid-90s...

Do I have the correct information?

#7, Impala was always fancier than Caprice, if I'm not mistaken.
