well - Stalin was a real bastard... as Patton said, we should have just kept on rolling past Berlin and beat back the Russians. No Cold War, etc. Would have changed history.

We did try to invade Russia after World War 1 to reinstall the Czars, failed obviously. Guess Truman didn't want to repeat the same mistake.
